A strong local membership in Community Living provides not only a strong voice for individuals with an intellectual disability and their families, but plays an important role through networking and advocacy to include supported individuals in the broader community and its economy. Inclusion provides opportunities for respectful and valued relationships.
Membership with Community Living Owen Sound and District is open to the general public with payment of an annual membership fee. Current members of Community Living Owen Sound and District also become members of Community Living Ontario. By becoming a voting member you are entitled to receive correspondence, newsletters, notice of training events, conferences and other important information that may be of value particularly to parents who have a child with an intellectual disability.
