These activities are a one-time event that will be happening each Friday, sometimes in the evening or on a weekend. Some Fun Friday activities will have a cost, others you will need to bring your own spending money. Participants need to sign up in advance for Fun Fridays. Please check your confirmation letters to see which activity you have signed up for.

PM – Gentle Southampton Walking: Meet us at the Southampton Arena every Thursday afternoon for a relaxing walk around town.

PM – Shopping on a Budget – We will be heading to different towns to enjoy strolling through secondhand shops with the hope of finding any items you might need at home at a cheaper cost!!!  COST: Bring your spending money each week.

PM- Soups & Stews: Learn to make a different soup or stew each week. Enjoy a bowl with friends for lunch and bring a container to take some home!

AM – Brunch & Beats: Each morning we will be exploring new recipes to create a delicious brunch to enjoy at The Link by the Shore, while we enjoy wonderful music!

PM – Spring Hiking – We are going to explore trails in Bruce and Grey Counties, looking for signs of Spring.  On the lookout for animal tracks, birds, and trees in blossom with our friends from Owen Sound.

AM – Music & Drumming – Week 1: We will join our friends in Wiarton for a fun drumming program. Week 2: We will go to Community Living Walkerton for a morning of live music, with new performers each time.

PM – Craft Circle: Bring your own craft (diamond dot, rug hooking, knitting, etc) and enjoy crafting with friends.
